Previously on Take Season 1 Episode 7 "Videogame, Set, Match", Though Ryan is reluctant to consider Owen under his mentorship, he begins to realize Owen might call for a big brother number in his life. Meanwhile, Yolanda decides she's wanting to graduate from the class and Steven hires the latest K-Bal Girl.<<BR>><<BR>>On this week's Occurrence title "Dinner Takes All", When Amy (Lauren Graham) will pay a visit to the woman's old college friends Ryan and Steven, the guys unexpectedly set out to compete for her passion. Meanwhile, Ryan invites the support group towards K-Bal offices for Thanksgiving, Lauren's qualifications are screened by Owen's mom and Anne's kids meet Ryan for the first time.<<BR>><<BR>>Matthew Perry ("Friends, " "Mr. Sunshine") stars as Ryan King, a recent widower in addition to sports talk radio host ready to make contact with work after the loss of his wife. Ryan's alpha-male boss, Stephen, played by John Cho ("Star Trek, " "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle"), has a different plan in store for Ryan, making him attend tremendous grief counseling before returning into the air. A reluctant Ryan finds himself from a support group for "life change, " where he satisfies an oddball cast of characters, all with their own backstories containing varying degrees of impairment.<<BR>><<BR>>On his very first visit, Ryan convinces the group to deviate using their normal session and gets going a tournament-style competition (Strut Sadness!) to find out whose story is the worst. Ryan's total lack interesting in "the healing process" demonstrates distracting and he soon butts heads with the by-the-books group leader, Lauren, played by Tony Award-winner Laura Benanti ("The Playboy Club"). Back at work, Ryan is confronted with the truth that he hasn't really ready-made his grief and realizes Lauren as well as the other members of the group might be key in helping him get over it. Also starring are Tony a2z Award-Winner Julie White ("Transformers") because Anne, Bill Cobbs ("The Muppets, " "Night at the Museum") as George and Suzy Nakamura ("Dodgeball") seeing that Yolanda.<<BR>><<BR>>"Go On" is your touching new comedy produced by Emmy Award-winning writer/executive designer Scott Silveri ("Perfect Couples, " "Friends"). Todd Holland ("Malcolm in the Middle"), Karey Nixon ("Free Agencies, " "Miss/Guided") along with Jon Pollack ("Up Many Night, " "30 Rock") also serve as executive suppliers.
